By accessing or using www.episenz.com, placing an order, or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our platform. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age, or be supervised by a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
You must be legally capable of entering into binding contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
All registration information you provide must be accurate, current, and complete.

Account Registration and Security

You may create an account or check out as a guest. A registered account provides order history, faster checkout, and loyalty programme access.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account, whether authorised by you or not.
Notify us immediately at wecare@episenz.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
Episenz reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found in violation of these Terms or engaged in fraudulent activity.

Products, Descriptions and Availability

We make every effort to display products, ingredients, and images accurately. However, product colours may vary slightly on screen, and formulations or packaging may be updated from time to time.
We recommend reading the full ingredient list on the physical packaging before use, particularly if you have known allergies or sensitivities.
All products are sold subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, you will be offered an alternative or a full refund.
Product descriptions and skincare information are for general informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice. Consult a dermatologist before introducing new products if you have a skin condition or sensitivities.

Pricing, Taxes and Payment

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.
Prices are subject to change without notice. The price at the time of your order placement will be honoured.
A tax invoice reflecting the GST breakdown is issued for every order and sent to your registered email.
Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL), EMI, and Cash on Delivery (COD) at select pincodes.
COD is subject to a ₹99 handling fee and a maximum order value of ₹5,000.
Payment credentials are processed exclusively by PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways and are never stored on our servers.
If payment is debited without order confirmation, the amount will be refunded to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

Order Placement

Clicking Place Order constitutes an offer to purchase and does not create a binding contract.
A contract is formed only when a Dispatch Confirmation email is sent.
The website is intended for personal, non-commercial purchases.
For bulk or commercial orders, contact wecare@episenz.com.
We reserve the right to cancel orders due to product unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, failed payment, or unserviceable delivery addresses. Full refunds will be issued where applicable.

Intellectual Property

All website content including the Episenz brand name, logo, product names, formulations, text, images, videos, and design are the exclusive intellectual property of Episenz Skin Science Private Limited.
You are granted a limited, personal, non-commercial licence to use the website.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse-engineer, scrape, or commercially exploit any part of the website without prior written consent.
By submitting reviews, testimonials, or photographs, you grant Episenz a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use such content for marketing purposes.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use this website to:

Violate any applicable law or regulation.
Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading conduct.
Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code.
Attempt unauthorised access to any part of the website.
Collect or harvest personal information without authorisation.
Resell or commercially exploit Episenz products without written permission.

Violations may result in immediate account termination and referral to law enforcement.

Product Usage and Safety

Perform a patch test before using any new Episenz product.
Review complete ingredient lists for allergens before use.
Episenz products are cosmetic products and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.
Consult a dermatologist if you have a diagnosed skin condition.
Apply sunscreen correctly and reapply every 2–3 hours during sun exposure.
Store products according to packaging instructions and observe the PAO (Period After Opening) symbol.

Promotions and Discount Codes

Promotions are subject to specific terms and validity periods.
Offers cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
Coupon codes are non-transferable, have no cash value, and cannot be applied retrospectively.
Episenz reserves the right to modify or withdraw promotions at any time.

Limitation of Liability

The website and all products and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Episenz does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent permitted under Indian law, Episenz shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you during the three months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. Complaints may be raised through the appropriate Consumer Commission or consumerhelpline.gov.in.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Both parties agree to first attempt amicable resolution within 30 days before initiating legal proceedings.
